One of the main goals of Safe Harbor Christian Communities is to provide a safe, caring environment for high-functioning developmentally disabled adults. In our residences, we create an environment that encourages them to be contributing citizens of their community.
Safe Harbor Christian Communities is a non-profit partially operated on the generous finacial giving of others. Donations can be made in any amount and are tax-deductable. Consider giving to help enrich our communities.
Between Faith House & Hope House in Grand Rapids and Mary's House and Joseph's House in Muskegon, there are many ways any and all age groups can volunteer with us. Our residents greatly appreciate those that visit and spend time with them.
Thank you to everyone who came out to our Action Auction to support Safe Harbor. It was a fun time with great food, fellowship, and 40 cool outdoor items people won by night's end!
Many people take the ability to live independently for granted. Adults with developmental disabilities don't. For them, the ability to live as independently as possible is a gift.
It is also a gift to their families. As parents consider the future for their disabled children, they search for residential programs that mirror their values and lifestyles. They want reassurance that their child will live in a homey setting and receive the care and assistance they need to live a fulfilling life.
At Safe Harbor Christian Communities we enable adults with developmental disabilities to live independently.
